Cruising to Poulsbo, Washington

Poulsbo

Poulsbo, located in Kitsap County, Washington, is a city on Liberty Bay. The population of this city places it as Kitsap County’s fourth largest. The town’s port is a great place to drop anchor, and three marinas can be found in close proximity to town. Enjoy a drink while looking out over the marina and waterfront park at one of the many waterfront restaurants along Front Street, Poulsbo’s burgeoning Arts District.

As a tribute to the early Scandinavian settlers of Poulsbo, the downtown area has kept its Scandinavian style. Poulsbo Bread used to be made in a local bakery, but now it can be bought all over the world. Several lovely parks can be found throughout the city, as can a boardwalk along Liberty Bay. The Valborg Oyen Public Library, interesting gift shops, delicious bakeries, and panoramic views of Liberty Bay and the Olympic Mountains are the hallmarks of this breathtaking region.
