Cruising to Nanaimo, British Columbia

NanaimoLocated on the east side of Vancouver Island, British Columbia’s capital city of Nanaimo is 34 nautical miles from Vancouver across the Strait of Georgia, 85 nautical miles north of Victoria, and 170 nautical miles north of Seattle, Washington. The city of Nanaimo is regarded as the “Hub City” because its port provides access to the rest of the island’s northern and southern communities. The West Coast’s most breathtaking landscapes are easily accessible by boat, plane, or car from here.

This is the newest terminal on the West Coast of the Americas, and it has a permanent berth large enough to accommodate the largest ships in the Pacific Northwest. When it first debuted in 2011, passengers on Princess Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Celebrity Cruises, as well as a few smaller pocket cruisers, were able to enjoy the facility. Passengers have the flexibility to come and go at their own pace thanks to speedy disembarkation, golf cart shuttles, and full accessibility.
